This special project is to back date this 1978 PORSCHE 911 Turbo (930) chassis to the famous 1973 PORSCHE 911 RSR. This lightweight chassis is fitted with a custom built drivetrain featuring a 993 twin turbocharged 3.8L engine and 6 Speed transaxle. The engine is precisely controlled by a MoTeC M600 engine management system. The transmission is of our special 993 Short Bell Housing, 6 Speed transaxles. Another little addition will be on-board motorsport inspired, KRONTEC air jack system! And of course a fully adjustable brake and suspension system. Take a closer look! We have started with a very clean 1973 911 T showing 90,000 miles on the odometer. It’s a car that I bought without the original 2.4L mechanical injection engine, although it did still have the orig. 915 w-7:31 ring and pinion hanging in there. 1973 911 RSR - 3.8L DME / 6-SPEED

This vehicle underwent a complete rebuild to RSR spec. We incorporated a G50 Short Bell Housing 6-speed transmission. We machined and performed a blueprinted rebuild right here at Patrick Motorsports. Fitment required extensive chassis modifications due to the longer transmission length. The engine displacement has been increased to 3.8L. Oil cooling has been updated with an RSR oil pump, our special Sebrab front mount oil cooler and the original equipment 930 radiator style front fender cooler.
