This original 914-6 came to us for a complete restoration & 914 6 GT conversion. The car was stuffed in the back of a small U-Haul box truck without suspension. The 2.0L engine was period correct and was completely blueprinted and updated with the 2.0L "S" 9.8:1 compression ratio piston and cylinder set. We also updated to big valve heads which required the intake valve pockets on the piston domes to be machined for proper valve clearance.  This 914-4 chassis was brought to us from Texas for a complete chassis restoration. The chassis was stripped, sent over for a strip & acid bath to find all the history of this car. We then repaired the light rust & body damage, prepared for steel GT flares, drop floor pans (for tall driver) and complete competition cage system front to rear. This '73 914-4 came to us from San Jose, California for the 914-6 GT conversion. The car is fitted with a 2.7L engine 40mm Zenith carbs, a 901 side shift transaxle. We took the car to bare metal, added steel GT flares, all 914 GT lightweight side rockers, GT front & rear valance, GT front & rear deck lids, GT front & rear bumpers, and GT engine lid.     This car is fitted with our front oil cooler system, the Setrab oil cooler (part # PMP 500-15NPT3/4).
