These are the highly regarded 993 Twin Turbo engine case studs, a mainstay of our engine builds for the past 20 years. Although developed for the 993TT engine, our case stud of choice for all flat six engine builds, both Turbo and naturally aspirated, mild to wild.
Per Porsche Technical Bulletin : The new version engine case studs are micro encapsulated with a thread locking compound, therefore when installing the stud into the engine case, the threaded portion of the case must be clean of debris and oil free. If necessary, chase the threaded portion of the hole for the cylinder head stud with a tap.
