We have just finished another 1998 Boxster 986 BSR / SPBOX racer. This was fully converted for use in the BSR "Boxster Spec. Racing Series". This emerging race series has been adopted by the PCA (PORSCHE Club of America) & the POC ( PORSCHE Owners Club). The SCCA, NASA, & HSR have also adopted the 2.5L Boxster racer with some slight rule changes and amendments. See your local race groups for class & eligibility.

HERE IS OUR 986 BOXSTER BSR LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL & CLUTCH BEING BALANCED BEFORE ASSEMBLY. THE RULES GIVE YOU VERY FEW CHANGES TO HELP CONTROL COST, BALANCING THESE COMPONENTS IS ONE WAY TO REDUCE DRIVETRAIN LOSS. THE LIGHTER WEIGHT FLYWHEEL WILL HELP THE ENGINE REV FASTER TO INCREASE RESPONSE.
THIS SYSTEM WAS DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR THE BOXSTER SPEC. RACING SERIES (BSR)
