We w​ere commissioned by the owner to restore this very rare ​1972 916 Coupe Porsche​ - 1 of 11 cars hand built by the design group. The car was purchased by the current owner's father in Germany​ through Jürgen Barth, and was used in many track day events in Germany during his deployment with the U.S. Army. The car came to us repainted black​, but was restored to its original configuration by ​our team: ​Brilliant Silver with ​Day​ Glo ​Red accents. This car is fitted with a 2.7 ​L RS MFI engine​ # 911/53.  It has ​a Magnesium case transaxle with serial number ​# 009 916 ​/ 915 transaxle, ​featuring a mechanical drive oil pump and spray bar ​all built by Porsche Motorsports.
