We w​ere commissioned by the owner to restore this very rare ​1972 916 Coupe Porsche​ - 1 of 11 cars hand built by the design group. The car was purchased by the current owner's father in Germany​ through Jürgen Barth, and was used in many track day events in Germany during his deployment with the U.S. Army. The car came to us repainted black​, but was restored to its original configuration by ​our team: ​Brilliant Silver with ​Day​ Glo ​Red accents. 1975 911 RSR Backdate 3.8L Engine Conversion and more!

This 1975 911 was backdated to a 1973 RSR style and received our 993 3.6L to 3.8L motor package. The car also had a fully adjustable RSR style suspension installed.  The 915 transmission was also addressed and we installed a lightweight stage 1 flywheel and clutch for improved throttle response and smooth engagement.  A limited slip differential helps keep the power planted on exit.  A 993 turbo brake package was installed to enhance stopping power as well. For this client we completed a GT conversion on his 1975 914-6, which had a 3.2L 6-cylinder DME. We provided a concours level full body strip & reseal respray with a full 914-6 gt body conversion - using steel fender flares, rocker panels, front bumper, lower valance, rear bumper, and rear lower valance.We added an Oil Cooler and Air Shroud Kit and carried out a full glass reseal & refresh with felt guides. Patrick Motorsports has built this 916 steel roof replica, powered by a fully built 964 DME based 3.8L engine, driven through a 915 gearbox with WEVO tail shift system. The car has a modern A/C system featuring R-134 refrigerant, utilizing a front mounted 993 A/C condenser with fan assist. This is a beautiful 1990 Porsche 964 RSR Backdate with 4.0L flat 6 engine, naturally aspirated with 50mm PMO carbs and fitted with an RSR front mount oil cooler kit. The later G50 6 speed transmission and addition of a Bilstein PSS coilover suspension package provides modern performance in a vintage package.
