We started with a customer supplied 1984 911 Carrera 3.2L, first complete disassembly and evaluation. Then conversion to long hood early ST configuration. This will be powered by a 1996 993 v-ram configured to 3.8l Euro RS spec.. We will be using our G50 short bell housing gearbox. Sahara Beige 1974 911 Carrera To 911 3.6L Twin Turbo RSR G50-50 Upgrade Conversion

This original 1974 Carrera has been converted to an all steel RSR wide body, and fitted with a 993 Twin Turbo EFI engine and G-50/50 transaxle. It has also had a 1989 930 torsion tube conversion that allows the fitment of 930 rear trailing arms! Of course it has all 930 brakes & suspension. 1973 911 RSR 3.8L Twin Turbo MOTEC EFI Upgrade G50 6 Speed Upgrade Conversion

This special project's goalbwas to back date this 1978 PORSCHE 911 Turbo (930) chassis to the famous 1973 Porsche 911 RSR. This lightweight chassis is fitted with a custom built drivetrain featuring a 993 twin turbocharged 3.8L engine and 6 Speed transaxle. The engine is precisely controlled by a MoTeC M600 engine management system. The transmission is of our special 993 Short Bell Housing, 6 Speed transaxles. Jeff's 1981 PORSCHE 911 Super Carrera with a 1997 993 3.6L V-Ram engine conversion.                 The 993 V-Ram 3.6L DME engine is originally equipped with secondary air injection system (smog pump), power steering and an oil filter console. The power steering pump driven off the right side camshaft is removed and replaced with our camshaft block off plate. 1973 911 RSR Racer With 3.8L DME G50 6 Speed Conversions In Martini Livery

This 911  underwent a complete rebuild to RSR specification. We incorporated a 6-speed G50 Short Bell Housing transmission (G50 SBH). We machined and performed a blueprint rebuild here at Patrick Motorsports. Engine and Transmission fitment required extensive chassis modifications due to the longer transmission length. The engine displacement has been increased to 3.8L. Oil cooling has been updated with an RSR oil pump, our special Setrab front mount oil cooler and the original equipment 930 radiator style front fender cooler. We restored and converted this 1970 911 into a RS "PRO" Touring edition! Our customer's 911 will be powered by a 1995 993 3.6L DME fuel injected engine. Power is executed through our G50 5 speed Short Bell Housing transaxle. This 1972 911 was a wreck when it showed up on a trailer towed in from San Diego. The customer wanted to have a car with super performance, and the comfort of A/C. The 1995 Porsche 993 3.6L engine was selected for installation in this project car.To fit this engine in this older Porsche 911 chassis, several modifications are required, the dash and power brake sheet metal work was the most intensive (see detail in photos).
