We started with a '96 993 coupe and completely converted it to full race RSR GT II configuration. We used all EVO II lightweight composite glass body work including the roof skin, and flush mount lightweight LEXAN windows. On the scales we are 2,360 lbs.. We have just completed a fully documented conversion of this 1998 933 Carrera 2 "S" to a full EURO RS 3.8L engine conversion. Baseline Dynamometer Testing Results: The stock original 3.6L Vario-Ram engine configuration produced 225.75 TQ (ft lbs) & 243.50 HP at the wheels.         Balancing the single mass Euro RS flywheel and clutch assembly. This 993 Turbo came to us as a Black Horse, and needed a refresh so the famed "Mexico Blue" was chosen to breathe some life back into the car. The GT-2 style is referring to the change from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive, we have converted the original 993 Turbo all wheel drive gearbox a G64/51 to a 993 Turbo 2 wheel drive unit. This project started life as a 1995 993 C-2 cabriolet. I purchased it as a "salvage title" interior fire/burn, and parted it out. I always dreamed of a race car, or Crazy C-4 Roadster conversion-(turbocharged of course), "Pikes Peak" killer. OK, I came to my senses, and here is what we have done. We stripped & sand blasted the tub, seam welded & caged the chassis. We then gave it the Zinc acid etch sealer.
