This 1999 Boxster 986 was fully converted for use in the BSR "Boxster Spec. Racing Series". The BSR series has been adopted by PCA & POC, along with NASA and some slight rule changes.

ALSO INSTALLED IS THE TRASSKEVB35 SHORT SHIFT KIT. THIS IS A BILLET PIECE DESIGNED FOR PORSCHE 986 & 996 ’97-UP MODELS. IT REDUCES SHIFTER THROW BY 35% AND IS USED WITH THE TRASSL996 BILLET SHIFT LINKAGE. 

THE LINKAGE INCORPORATES A SPHERICAL HEIM JOINT FOR MORE PRECISE SHIFTING. THIS PART REPLACES THE OEM PLASTIC SHIFT LINKAGE WHICH HAS BEEN PRONE TO FAILURE. IT WILL SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE SHIFTER FREE PLAY WITH NO SLACK BEARINGS INCLUDED IN THE KIT.

WITH THE INT93555-12BAPD RACING HARNESS 5 PT KIT, 3", CAM, GN, BOLT ADJ., PD SEWN LAP (BOLT), GRAND NATIONAL STYLE. SHOULDER (WRAP), SINGLE SUB (BOLT), SFI 16.1, BLACK
ON THE DASH THE ACC CS FC-1 COOL SHIRT - TEMPERATURE CONTROL SWITCH - FLOW CONTROLLER IS MOUNTED. 

THE STEERING WHEEL IS A MOMO SUSR1905355 MOD 7 STEERING WHEELS
3 DISHED SPOKES, 350 mm DISH DIMENSIONS: 70 mm, MOUNTED ON THE MOMO STEERING WHEEL ADAPTER HUB FOR PORSCHE BOXSTER 97-04, 944 ALL 85-89, 968 90-94, 911 90-04 AND SUSMOMO QUICK RELEASE RALLY BOLT ON/STEERING WHEEL HUB. 

THE NEW LIGHT WEIGHT QUICK RELEASES FROM MOMO FEATURE A KEYWAY DESIGN THAT SAVES TIME WHEN TIME IS CRUCIAL. THE ADVANCED DESIGN ALLOWS ONLY ONE WAY OF INSTALLATION SO THAT THERE IS NO MORE FUMBLING OF TRYING TO LINE UP A SPLINE DESIGN. THE LOCATION OF OUR ELERCX11862 MASTER DISCONNECT SWITCH - POWER - 6 POLE TYPE WITH ALTERNATOR - (FIA APPROVED) *Required for race cars. 

THIS IS MOUNTED UNDER THE FRONT HOOD AND HAS TWO CABLES CONNECTED FOR REMOTE OPERATION, ONE IS IN THE DASH FOR THE DRIVER AND THE OTHER IS LOCATED AT THE LOWER DRIVERS SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD OF EMERGENCY OPERATION.
