This project involved the meticulous restoration of an exceptionally clean 1972 Porsche 914-4 originally acquired in Germany by the current owner, and transforming it into one of the ultimate 916 GT Hot Rods Ever Built !
After the complete restoration of the Original # 020 916, we were able to thoroughly examine the car's unique attributes, revealing intricate details of its body and chassis as we stripped it down to bare metal and rebuilt it. This gave us another level of 914 insight that made this project even more special
The 914 shown here exemplifies over 35 years of 914 experience in restoration, racing, and servicing these cars.
Exterior is finished in the Original Willow Green - Glasurit 55 Line and complete PPF Clear wrap for protection. The interior is all a Bespoke Leather trim out with heated front seats & wool carpet
The vehicle is equipped with a 3.8 L RSR MoTeC Controlled EFI engine, serial number. Its drivetrain includes a Late 915 Aluminum case transaxle, with WEVO 915 Mid Engine shift system, and featuring a thermostatically controlled oil cooling system, all available thru Patrick Motorsports
