We w​ere commissioned by the owner to restore this very rare ​1972 916 Coupe Porsche​ - 1 of 11 cars hand built by the design group. The car was purchased by the current owner's father in Germany​ through Jürgen Barth, and was used in many track day events in Germany during his deployment with the U.S. Army. The car came to us repainted black​, but was restored to its original configuration by ​our team: ​Brilliant Silver with ​Day​ Glo ​Red accents. For this client we completed a GT conversion on his 1975 914-6, which had a 3.2L 6-cylinder DME. We provided a concours level full body strip & reseal respray with a full 914-6 gt body conversion - using steel fender flares, rocker panels, front bumper, lower valance, rear bumper, and rear lower valance.We added an Oil Cooler and Air Shroud Kit and carried out a full glass reseal & refresh with felt guides.
