We were commissioned by the owner to restore this very rare 1972 916 Coupe Porsche - 1 of 11 cars hand built by the design group. The car was purchased by the current owner's father in Germany through Jürgen Barth, and was used in many track day events in Germany during his deployment with the U.S. Army. The car came to us repainted black, but was restored to its original configuration by our team: Brilliant Silver with Day Glo Red accents. This car is fitted with a 2.7 L RS MFI engine # 911/53. 1975 914-6 GT 3.2L DME Gulf Tribute Upgrade Conversion

For this client we completed a GT conversion on his 1975 914-6, which had a 3.2L 6-cylinder DME. We provided a concours level full body strip & reseal respray with a full 914-6 gt body conversion - using steel fender flares, rocker panels, front bumper, lower valance, rear bumper, and rear lower valance.We added an Oil Cooler and Air Shroud Kit and carried out a full glass reseal & refresh with felt guides.
