We started with a 1996 993 coupe and completely converted it to full race RSR GT II configuration. We used all EVO II lightweight composite glass body work including the roof skin, and flush mount lightweight LEXAN windows. On the scales we are at 2,360 lbs. We spared no expense or detail on this car. The engine is a 964 based 3.8L RSR, utilizing all the tricks- RSR big valves & seats, Sprint cams, TWM manifold system, hand made full race 1-7/8" stainless steel headers with merge collector & rear crossover secondary merge exit. We are utilizing the very best in MOTEC management with the M880 (mil spec.) ECU, ADL2 dash, with 16mb of data logging. We are now setting the car up with infrared tire temperature sensors & suspension ride height/travel sensors. The engine makes 390+ HP on our DYNOJET XLC224 chassis dyno, and this RSR moves out quickly! We have built two 993 6 speed transaxles, one has the RSR 8:32= 4.0:1 R&P with all short gears "sprint trans". Our second transaxle has the 9:31 3.44 Final Drive with short gears, both with our PMS billet side cover to reduce gear deflection & wear, along with all our tricks, and a super efficient SETRAB oil cooler, this system is for life! We stripped the entire chassis bare, seam welded the tub & hand fabricated the complete roll cage safety system. The cage is FIA approved, the main hoop, A-pillars & rear downward bars are built in 1.75" DOM .120" wall tubing, the rest in 1.50" DOM .095 wall. The front & rear chassis tubes are also 1.50" DOM .095". The car has a KRONTEC onboard air jack system that really makes it nice to set up & service. We have just completed a diet program & went through the car to replace the floor pans and seat mount to get the driver as low as possible, it worked! We have just converted and reconfigured the dash & switch area, finished in red wrinkle powder coating, among the details. FUELSAFE fuel cell, and just look at the photos, no detail spared!
Leading the pack.

This picture shows the FUE SA 117 FUEL CELL which includes the 100 mm double dry brake system. When a fuel cell is wanted or required there is no finer choice than a fuel safe fuel cell. They are used and approved by all sanctioning bodies in every racing application from off road to Indy. If you are looking for a fuel cell, fuel safe should be your first and only choice!

The brake package we chose is the Brembo 4 piston calipers with slotted rotors.
You can also see the coil over front suspension with Eibach progressive tender and main springs and the factory oil cooler. We use Goodridge stainless steel braided hoses and fittings with all our oil cooler installations and upgrades.
This shot shows the transmission rebuild in progress. You can also see the return fitting for the transmission cooler system we are installing. We only use the finest components in our upgrades. Including the Tilton oil pump to circulate the transmission fluid through the Setrab oil cooler. All fittings and hose are Goodridge.
This also shows our billet side cover which is a must for the higher horsepower
applications to add needed strength to the differential case.
A composite roof was added in the second stage of weight reduction. We also completely cut out and re-paneled much of the chassis to reduce as much weight as possible.
