We started with a 1996 993 coupe and completely converted it to full race RSR GT II configuration. We used all EVO II lightweight composite glass body work including the roof skin, and flush mount lightweight LEXAN windows. On the scales we are at 2,360 lbs. We spared no expense or detail on this car. This 1966 912 “3 gauge” coupe was picked up for our customer at the 2009 German Auto Fest in Ventura, Ca. and brought back to Phoenix for a complete restoration. We have just completed a fully documented conversion of this 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera 2 S to a full Euro 993 RS 3.8L engine. Baseline Dynamometer Testing Results: The stock original 993 3.6L Varioram engine configuration produced 225.75 Ft/lbs Torque and 243.50 Horsepower at the wheels.         Balancing the single mass Euro RS flywheel and clutch assembly. This sweet 1987 930 has come to us from Ohio for an engine rebuild & upgrade, along with suspension, A/C, and oil cooler updates. We started with a comprehensive disassembly & inspection, the engine was showing cylinder. combustion leak at cylinder #5. We found that after careful inspection of the #5 cylinder head that it was incorrectly machined, and causing a deck height issue.
