Another exciting project from Patrick Motorsports!
This is a beautiful 1990 Porsche 964 RSR Backdate with 4.0L flat 6 engine, naturally aspirated with 50mm PMO carbs and fitted with an RSR front mount oil cooler kit. The later G50 6 speed transmission and addition of a Bilstein PSS coilover suspension package provides modern performance in a vintage package.

This special project's goalbwas to back date this 1978 PORSCHE 911 Turbo (930) chassis to the famous 1973 Porsche 911 RSR. This lightweight chassis is fitted with a custom built drivetrain featuring a 993 twin turbocharged 3.8L engine and 6 Speed transaxle. The engine is precisely controlled by a MoTeC M600 engine management system. The transmission is of our special 993 Short Bell Housing, 6 Speed transaxles. Another little addition will be on-board motorsport inspired, KRONTEC air jack system! And of course a fully adjustable brake and suspension system. Take a closer look! This sweet 1987 930 has come to us from Ohio for an engine rebuild & upgrade, along with suspension, A/C, and oil cooler updates. We started with a comprehensive disassembly & inspection, the engine was showing cylinder. combustion leak at cylinder #5. We found that after careful inspection of the #5 cylinder head that it was incorrectly machined, and causing a deck height issue. We have fitted a 1997 993 3.6L DME fuel injected engine, featuring our Patrick MS 225mm 3.6L DME conversion flywheel, camshaft block-offs, single belt crankshaft pulley, and much more. We fitted a 1985 911 915 Carrera transaxle with LSD, then went through and freshened up this great transaxle, with a semi-tube chassis design.     993 3.6L engine and 915 transmission installed with our 911 exhaust headers and custom made dual muffler system.
