1975 911 RSR Backdate 3.8L Engine Conversion and more!

This 1975 911 was backdated to a 1973 RSR style and received our 993 3.6L to 3.8L motor package. The car also had a fully adjustable RSR style suspension installed.  The 915 transmission was also addressed and we installed a lightweight stage 1 flywheel and clutch for improved throttle response and smooth engagement.  A limited slip differential helps keep the power planted on exit.  A 993 turbo brake package was installed to enhance stopping power as well. Enjoy the video!

911 Backdate To 911 RSR 3.4L Build in Bright Orange

Bright orange, stretched fenders, and a loud exhaust.  Driving down the road, everyone stares.  While on the outside it may look and sound like a racecar, on the inside it feels far from it.  There is still air conditioning and the Recaro seats are both heated and ventilated, a huge luxury in the Arizona heat.    Out on the open road, the steering is darty and eager to turn in.  The vehicle feels taught, with no hesitation on initial turn-in.  Planted through undulations, bump steer is well controlled.  Using the brakes requires a lead foot just like any racecar.  Once proper...

In 1970, Porsche entered a 914/6 with the factory's GT option in the grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The car, identified as #40, was driven by Claude Ballot-Léna and Guy Chasseuil. It finished 6th overall, preceded only by prototype racecars like the V12 Ferrari 512S and Flat-12 Porsche 917K.
