Full Restoration: 1979 930 Turbo

The 1979 930 Turbo was one FAST car ahead of its time. With a 3.3L Turbo flat 6, pushing 0-60 MPH in 4.9 seconds, and 13.7 seconds in the 1/4 mile. (For reference, Corvettes ran the same in 15.7 seconds back then)This restoration now looks and feels like Day 1 off the dealer lot, and we love it! She arrived with a bit of an identity crisis, and questionable installations throughout. The owner wanted a complete restoration - as if brand new! Removing what wouldn't work, we had a blank canvas to build it right. Rebuilding the correct body. Bringing...

1996 993 Turbo To GT2 Style - 3.6L DME

This 993 Turbo came to us as a Black Horse, and needed a refresh so the famed "Mexico Blue" was chosen to breathe some life back into the car. The GT-2 style is referring to the change from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive, we have converted the original 993 Turbo all wheel drive gearbox a G64/51 to a 993 Turbo 2 wheel drive unit. This keeps the nice tall turbo gears and the strength in tact, it also attains the center oil feed main shaft & pinion shaft that the G64/51 & GT-2 have in common.  featuring...

1987 930 Turbo 3.4L Twin-Plug Ignition

This sweet '87 930 has come to us from Ohio for an engine rebuild & upgrade, along with suspension, A/C, and oil cooler updates. We started with a comprehensive disassembly & inspection, the engine was showing cyl. combustion leak at cyl. #5. We found that after careful inspection of the #5 cyl. head that it was incorrectly machined, and causing a deck height issue. This being #5 it was held off by the #4 & #6 heads and not sealing properly. Nothing that can't be fixed here, take a look!                      ...

We cut the roof to lose the weight & build the FIA spec....
