We started with a customer supplied 1984 911 Carrera 3.2L, first complete disassembly and evaluation. Then conversion to long hood early ST configuration. This will be powered by a 1996 993 v-ram configured to 3.8l Euro RS spec.. We will be using our G50 short bell housing gearbox. Take a look at the interior detail! Jeff's 1981 PORSCHE 911 Super Carrera with a 1997 993 3.6L V-Ram engine conversion. The 993 V-Ram 3.6L DME engine is originally equipped with secondary air injection system (smog pump), power steering and an oil filter console. The power steering pump driven off the right side camshaft is removed and replaced with our camshaft block off plate. We also remove and plug the air injection ports on the engine. We have started this restoration and modification build with a very clean 1973 911T showing 90,000 miles on the odometer. It’s a car that I bought without the original 2.4L mechanical Fuel injection engine, although it did still have the original 915 transmission with 7:31 ring and pinion hanging in there. We have fitted a 1997 993 3.6L DME fuel injected engine, featuring our Patrick MS 225mm 3.6L DME conversion flywheel, camshaft block-offs, single belt crankshaft pulley, and much more. We fitted a 1985 911 915 Carrera transaxle with LSD, then went through and freshened up this great transaxle, with a semi-tube chassis design. 993 3.6L engine and 915 transmission installed with our 911 exhaust headers and custom made dual muffler system.
