1975 911 RSR Backdate 3.8L Engine Conversion and more!

This 1975 911 was backdated to a 1973 RSR style and received our 993 3.6L to 3.8L motor package. The car also had a fully adjustable RSR style suspension installed.  The 915 transmission was also addressed and we installed a lightweight stage 1 flywheel and clutch for improved throttle response and smooth engagement.  A limited slip differential helps keep the power planted on exit.  A 993 turbo brake package was installed to enhance stopping power as well. Enjoy the video!

911 Backdate To 911 RSR 3.4L Build in Bright Orange

Bright orange, stretched fenders, and a loud exhaust.  Driving down the road, everyone stares.  While on the outside it may look and sound like a racecar, on the inside it feels far from it.  There is still air conditioning and the Recaro seats are both heated and ventilated, a huge luxury in the Arizona heat.    Out on the open road, the steering is darty and eager to turn in.  The vehicle feels taught, with no hesitation on initial turn-in.  Planted through undulations, bump steer is well controlled.  Using the brakes requires a lead foot just like any racecar.  Once proper...

This original 914-6 was first delivered to Captain Willis, a paratrooper stationed in Bitburg Germany and later resided in Pordenone Italy.  Both he and the car were transferred to Florida where the car collected dust for many years.  In 2008, the vehicle was sold on eBay and started its transformation into a 914/6 GT.   Like many projects that come to Patrick Motorsports, this 914-6 sat in the midst of restoration for several years.  Oftentimes individuals and even shops underestimate the difficulty, labor and knowledge required for a full restoration.  The body of the vehicle was to receive GT style flared...

This car is fitted with our front oil cooler system, the Setrab oil cooler (part # PMP 500-15NPT3/4). This is plumbed to the engine using Goodridge fittings and stainless braided hoses. Adding an oil cooler system is a must for operation of the air cooled engines in warmer climates, as the factory engine mounted cooler just does not keep your engine operating in its optimal temperature range, causing premature engine wear and loss for performance. Our systems have been designed to keep your engine operating at its desired operating temperature which extends engine life and improves performance. 914 GT OIL COOLER...

Light Yellow 1974 911 Carrera 3.0L With 3.2L DME 915 Restoration and Conversion

I located this 1974 Carrera in Burbank, CA in 1996, with only 68,000 miles and complete but in need of a restoration. We stripped the car and started the process. We started with an 1980 3.0L engine, 3.2L 41mm port heads, Cosworth Lightweight piston set, 993 Sport camshafts, B&B stainless exhaust heat exchangers & dual-inlet dual-outlet exhaust system, and fitted the engine with 3.2L Digital Motronic Electronics (DME). We tuned the engine with the help of "Autothority" and their Mass Air Flow system.
