1973 911 RSR 3.8L Twin Turbo MOTEC EFI Upgrade G50 6 Speed Upgrade Conversion

This special project's goalbwas to back date this 1978 PORSCHE 911 Turbo (930) chassis to the famous 1973 Porsche 911 RSR. This lightweight chassis is fitted with a custom built drivetrain featuring a 993 twin turbocharged 3.8L engine and 6 Speed transaxle. The engine is precisely controlled by a MoTeC M600 engine management system. The transmission is of our special 993 Short Bell Housing, 6 Speed transaxles. Another little addition will be on-board motorsport inspired, KRONTEC air jack system! And of course a fully adjustable brake and suspension system. Take a closer look! Modern 1974 IROC clone, this was started on a Grand Prix White L-908 1974 911, and fitted with a 964 based 3.8L engine. The engine is managed by MoTec and features our new billet EFI "Slide Valve" manifolds! We have fitted the car with a RUF 6 speed gearbox that is based on a G-50/50 transmission. We have started this restoration and modification build with a very clean 1973 911T showing 90,000 miles on the odometer. It’s a car that I bought without the original 2.4L mechanical Fuel injection engine, although it did still have the original 915 transmission with 7:31 ring and pinion hanging in there.
