1990 964 RSR Backdate with 4.0L and G50 6 speed

Another exciting project from Patrick Motorsports!

This is a beautiful 1990 Porsche 964 RSR Backdate with 4.0L flat 6 engine, naturally aspirated with 50mm PMO carbs and fitted with an RSR front mount oil cooler kit. The later G50 6 speed transmission and addition of a Bilstein PSS coilover suspension package provides modern performance in a vintage package.

We started with a customer supplied 1984 911 Carrera 3.2L, first complete disassembly and evaluation. Then conversion to long hood early ST configuration. This will be powered by a 1996 993 v-ram configured to 3.8l Euro RS spec.. We will be using our G50 short bell housing gearbox. Take a look at the interior detail! 1973 911 RSR 3.8L Twin Turbo MOTEC EFI Upgrade G50 6 Speed Upgrade Conversion

This special project's goalbwas to back date this 1978 PORSCHE 911 Turbo (930) chassis to the famous 1973 Porsche 911 RSR. This lightweight chassis is fitted with a custom built drivetrain featuring a 993 twin turbocharged 3.8L engine and 6 Speed transaxle. The engine is precisely controlled by a MoTeC M600 engine management system. The transmission is of our special 993 Short Bell Housing, 6 Speed transaxles. Another little addition will be on-board motorsport inspired, KRONTEC air jack system! And of course a fully adjustable brake and suspension system. Take a closer look!
