914/6 GT 3.6L DME 915 Upgrade Conversion

This car is fitted with our front oil cooler system, the Setrab oil cooler (part # PMP 500-15NPT3/4). This is plumbed to the engine using Goodridge fittings and stainless braided hoses. Adding an oil cooler system is a must for operation of the air cooled engines in warmer climates, as the factory engine mounted cooler just does not keep your engine operating in its optimal temperature range, causing premature engine wear and loss for performance. Our systems have been designed to keep your engine operating at its desired operating temperature which extends engine life and improves performance. 914 GT OIL COOLER...

Light Blue Metallic 1981 911 SC 993 3.6L DME Varioram Upgrade Conversion

Jeff's 1981 PORSCHE 911 Super Carrera with a 1997 993 3.6L V-Ram engine conversion.                 The 993 V-Ram 3.6L DME engine is originally equipped with secondary air injection system (smog pump), power steering and an oil filter console. The power steering pump driven off the right side camshaft is removed and replaced with our camshaft block off plate. We also remove and plug the air injection ports on the engine. The oil filter console is in place of the original style engine mounted oil cooler found on Porsche 911 cars made before 1990. This...

Riviera Blue 911 RSR Race Car With 964 3.8L G50 5 Speed Race Car Upgrade Conversions

We fit this 911 race car with a 3.8L 964 based RSR engine, and coupled it to a 1989 G50 transaxle. The gearbox has all the tricks, tall 2.8 ratio first gear mainshaft set with close ratio gears straight thru 5th gear. We set the G50 up with a Quaife torque biasing differential and our billet side cover. This is just the start of our project build sheet, see the detail in the photos and read the description of parts & service related to getting it done. These services shown here are performed daily at Patrick Motorsports, and the products we...

Mexico Blue 1996 993 Turbo G64 4WD To 2WD GT2 Upgrade Conversion Restoration

This 993 Turbo came to us as a Black Horse, and needed a refresh so the famed Mexico Blue was chosen to breathe some life back into the car. The GT2 style is referring to the change from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive.  We have converted the original 993 Turbo all wheel drive gearbox G64/51 to a 993 Turbo 2 wheel drive unit. This keeps the nice tall turbo gears and the strength in tact, it also retains the center oil feed main shaft and pinion shaft that the G64/51 & GT2 have in common.  New interior...

Maritime Blue 1995 993 RSR Speedster 3.8L MOTEC ITB 2WD G64 6 Speed Race Car Conversion Restoration

This project started life as a 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera 2 cabriolet. I purchased it as a salvage title interior fire/burn, and parted it out. I always dreamed of a race car, or Crazy C4 Roadster conversion -turbocharged of course, "Pikes Peak" killer. OK, I came to my senses, and here is what we have done. We stripped & sand blasted the tub, seam welded & caged the chassis. We then gave it the Zinc acid etch sealer. We fitted it with the 993 GT2 glass body package, our little twist was the addition of the cab./speedster profile. We have...
