1973 911 RSR 3.8L Twin Turbo MOTEC EFI Upgrade G50 6 Speed Upgrade Conversion

This special project's goalbwas to back date this 1978 PORSCHE 911 Turbo (930) chassis to the famous 1973 Porsche 911 RSR. This lightweight chassis is fitted with a custom built drivetrain featuring a 993 twin turbocharged 3.8L engine and 6 Speed transaxle. The engine is precisely controlled by a MoTeC M600 engine management system. The transmission is of our special 993 Short Bell Housing, 6 Speed transaxles. Another little addition will be on-board motorsport inspired, KRONTEC air jack system! And of course a fully adjustable brake and suspension system. Take a closer look! 914-4 conversion to 916 style body, with a 964 based 3.8L MoTec managed Slide Valve EFI engine & 915 WEVO mid-engine transaxle. The car also incorporates the new M185 MoTec digital dash. This project started life as a 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera 2 cabriolet. I purchased it as a salvage title interior fire/burn, and parted it out. I always dreamed of a race car, or Crazy C4 Roadster conversion -turbocharged of course, "Pikes Peak" killer. OK, I came to my senses, and here is what we have done. We stripped & sand blasted the tub, seam welded & caged the chassis. We then gave it the Zinc acid etch sealer.
