1973 911T To RSR Build With 993 3.6L Varioram G50 Restoration Conversions

We have started this restoration and modification build with a very clean 1973 911T showing 90,000 miles on the odometer. It’s a car that I bought without the original 2.4L mechanical Fuel injection engine, although it did still have the original 915 transmission with 7:31 ring and pinion hanging in there. The car was so clean & complete I had thought about putting a 2.4L MFI engine back in, wait this thought only crossed my mind for a moment. I had true visions of grandeur in 1973 RSR style with a 1996-1998 993 3.6L DME V-Ram engine featuring A/C and Heat,...

1973 911 RSR Racer With 3.8L DME G50 6 Speed Conversions In Martini Livery

This 911  underwent a complete rebuild to RSR specification. We incorporated a 6-speed G50 Short Bell Housing transmission (G50 SBH). We machined and performed a blueprint rebuild here at Patrick Motorsports. Engine and Transmission fitment required extensive chassis modifications due to the longer transmission length. The engine displacement has been increased to 3.8L. Oil cooling has been updated with an RSR oil pump, our special Setrab front mount oil cooler and the original equipment 930 radiator style front fender cooler. The specs for the racing class allowed us to use PMO Carburetors with a high output ignition system. We also built...

1972 911 RS 993 3.6L DME G50 SBH Transmission Conversion Restoration

This 1972 911 was a wreck when it showed up on a trailer towed in from San Diego. The customer wanted to have a car with super performance, and the comfort of A/C. The 1995 Porsche 993 3.6L engine was selected for installation in this project car.To fit this engine in this older Porsche 911 chassis, several modifications are required, the dash and power brake sheet metal work was the most intensive (see detail in photos). We have installed the wide variety of our special 3.6L DME engine conversion parts. For this project we installed the Porsche G50  transmission converted...

1958 356 With 993 3.6L DME VarioRam and 915Conversions

We have fitted a 1997 993 3.6L DME fuel injected engine, featuring our Patrick MS 225mm 3.6L DME conversion flywheel, camshaft block-offs, single belt crankshaft pulley, and much more. We fitted a 1985 911 915 Carrera transaxle with LSD, then went through and freshened up this great transaxle, with a semi-tube chassis design.     993 3.6L engine and 915 transmission installed with our 911 exhaust headers and custom made dual muffler system. On the ground you will see very little of the system, making it very hard to tell this is anything more than a beautifully restored 356 until you...
